Dulux Colour of the Year 2021 - Brave Ground

Dulux have chosen a warm, natural neutral as their Colour of the Year for 2021.  Brave Ground brings a balance to any room, and it's warm tones work well with a range of colours and textures.

"Dulux colour experts have chosen Brave Ground™, a bolstering shade that connects back to nature and the simple things. A warm, earthy tone, it creates a feeling of stability, growth and potential; and provides a firm foundation for change and creativity in your home."

 Dulux Colour Specialists have created 4 colour palettes, all centered around the Colour of the Year.

Read on to see how you can recreate these colour combinations using Brave Ground and some of our tiles.

TRUST COLOURS

Create the look with our new Bali Stones Compass tiles (currently only available in store), which come in three neutral, earth tones with an on-trend compass design.

 

 

Brave Ground also complements the natural tones of wood, allowing it's grain and texture to take centre stage.  With their realistic, textured surfaces, our porcelain wood effect tiles Aspenwood, or a laminate flooring such as RobustoOak Nature pair perfectly.  Or for something different choose Polo Pul, our wood and marble effect porcelain tile.

 

EXPRESSIVE COLOURS

To recreate the look pair with pinks, such as our Artisan tiles in Rose Mallow or Kromatika hexagonal tiles in Rose.

EARTH COLOURS

Recreate the look with bold blues - like our Kromatika tiles in Naval Blue or Heritage tiles in Indigo. (Both available in-store only).

TIMELESS COLOURS

Classic and contemporary yellows and ochres work really well with Brave Ground.  Recreate the look with our Bissel metro tiles in Tiger and Artisan tiles in Gold.
